Lovely Day

It turns out - even after having lived here in Astoria for going on (off and on) three years now - we can still discover new and exciting things right here in the town. We definitely explored before, but having Gypsy makes us a little more conscious of finding places off the beaten path where she can roam and frolic. We recently discovered an old logging road, at the top of the mountain, in the center of town. The road is closed to traffic, but stretches on and on through the woods. And it overlooks the beautiful Youngs River Bay. It's quite a scene. We took quite a few photos on our walk on part of it today - more of which I'll post a bit later this week. : )
