From Oregon to Georgia Part Two

The Autumnal colors in the Eastern Oregon Desert and Idaho really surprised me. I always loved the colors of the Painted Hills, but the trees were the brightest variations of yellow and red and orange. They made the descent from the High Desert to the plateaus quite extraordinary.

wee! these are so beautiful. i'm so envious of your many many cross country trips. i drove solo ny > co > ny a few years ago -- and it wasn't enough! i need more :) congrats on a successful trip back east!

That first picture is beautiful. Reminds me of a photo I took in alaska (minus the snow ;) ). And we also drove from NY > IL > CO > IL > NY recently. Fun!
